I can't thank you enough for all you have done for Trey, Garrett, and I. We are so incredibly blessed to have you a part of our lives. I know that I have told you this before, but I will tell you again. We received THREE "signs" that led us to you. They were clearly not coincidences.From the moment we met you, we knew that you were the hands we were to be in. Your honesty, sincerity, and little doses of reality, are what make you great at what you do.

I feel fortunate that I was able to live in Guatemala to bond with Garret. During my stay, I met dozens and dozens of adoptive families. I can't tell you how many stories I heard from them that just broke my heart. Lack of communication, dishonesty, and manipulation are just a few of the words to describe their experiences. I could feel nothing but sorrow for them. I prayed just as much for them as I did for us. Many of them had very little relationship with their agency representative, and were stunned to hear that I spoke directly with you on a consistent basis. That was unheard of. Many of them had no real idea where they were in the whole process, something that was completely unimaginable to me. It is absolutely painful to envision going through the experience of international adoption without the needed support that you had given us. Again, I feel we were incredibly blessed to have you and we do nothing but praise you and Grace International to all.

I am so thankful for the smooth process we had throughout our adoption, and although we had some delays along the way due to the changes in the adoption process, my family would not be where we are today.and when asked if I would do it again. I say "exactly the same way". I hope it's only a couple of more years! I always told you that "I wouldn't want your job", but the truth is.I probably couldn't do near as good of a job as you do.but I wish that I could.

Garrett's birth name, "Rafael", means "healed by God". We strongly believe that Garrett has brought us to that "healing" point in our lives. Thank you for helping us find him. You have no idea what you mean to us as a family and before we know it, Garrett will be old enough to understand it too.
