Hello Terri

We started down this journey in our mid-40’s hoping to finally create a family. While considering several adoption agencies, we attended a seminar by Grace International and were immediately convinced this was the agency to represent us and take us down the path of adopting our child. This turned out to be a great decision. Terri and her team already had a Great Russian program in place. While Russian adoptions require two trips, we elected to take three. Our entire adoption process took place in Moscow. Since we like to travel, we did some sightseeing while in Moscow. The Kremlin and Red Square are not to be missed. Moscow is a huge city but very safe and it has everything you could want – it is no longer a “third world country”. We stayed at a Marriott within walking distance of the main tourist sites. Everything went smooth while in Moscow. The Grace International team in Russia is nothing short of superb. It is comforting to know that someone is waiting for you at the airport when you arrive. The team also coordinates all your appointments so all you have to do is be ready in the lobby of your hotel at the time they specify. There was no language barrier to overcome. While there are always small obstacles to overcome due to all the changes in Russian adoption, it is well worth the effort. Terri’s team, both here and in Moscow, kept us abreast of what was upcoming every step of the way so there was nothing that took us by surprise. We now have a healthy, beautiful 18-month-old girl to complete our family. Words cannot describe the joy she has brought to our lives.
