The Brown/Didriksen Family
Dear Terri,
In reflecting on our adoption experience with Grace, perhaps the aspect that we most appreciate is your willingness to accommodate our regular need for information. Because there are different people and processes leading to each baby, there is no ready blueprint or formbook that would apply equally to each international adoption. There are so many nuances and twists and turns along that way—some of which can be anticipated and some of which cannot. It’s been an amazing experience, but one that would have been extremely difficult without the level of counsel and advice that you and your team provided.
Grace has assembled a very fine group of warm professionals to work with and help your families navigate this process. At each step of our adoption, home study, dossier preparation, visit trips and completion of PGN, you and your staff have been ready and willing to answer almost any question that we had; to explain the rules and processes and why they should be followed. You were readily available to us and spent the time with us we needed to be comfortable. On questions for which Grace did not have an immediate answer, you routinely provided them within 2-3 days.
More importantly, each member of your team that we met with was polite, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know Monika through our home study—she made all of us (Caleb, me and our 3 boys) feel so comfortable and at ease with her questions and the process. Your team in Guatemala is a delight and very accommodating. We hope to connect again with them in the future.
Thank you for helping us through this amazing journey. Our little Eliza will add much joy to our lives!
